Vaquero model diferences

My son has been considering a Vaquero. He will probably buy used. Any changes to them besides the KAMS (fan cooling system) and gear changes that I think happened in 2012 or 2013 model year? Should he be concerned with getting a 2010 or 2011? I don`t think the extra heat would bother him. Any opinions would be appreciated. :cheers:

I don't think that the Vaquero model comes with the KAMS. :???:

There were no Vaqueros in 2010, there is no KAMS on any year of Vaquero and it can't be added, and the gear changes were done in 2011 on all models. So basically no mechanical differences throughout the model run except later years have power-boosted brakes with ABS.

GV550 is correct. Only changes were the colors from year to year. I happen to have the fastest color..lol

2011 Red and Black
2012 Plasma Blue and the SE Green.
2013 Flat Black, SE Candy Burnt Orange with flames. Black with metalic flake
2014 same as 2013 except no flat Black
2015 G a Dark Graphite grey looks black till you get close. SE green with flames

2015 also are now using O2 sensors, which the Vaq never had before. At least the Vaq released in the USA.

ABS on 2014 and later US models. You guys north of the border got ABS right away.
