I'm looking for answers to my Vaquero Cruise Control that, sometimes doesn't engage, when it does it will accelerate the bike and I have real trouble turning it off. It will some times stagger down 10kph as though there's a fuel problem or it will intermittingly turn off and on. If anyone has any helpful answers I'd appreciate it.

Start by spraying break clean on little switch under the rear brake pedal and cycle the break a few times. If that does not work try the wires that connect into your front brake and clutch wiggle then little bit sometimes they come loose. That was the issue with my cruise.

Back to the drawing board, went to go for a ride Saturday. We had ignition but no servo's running so no start, came up Error 56 on the dash. I'm getting a bit desperate I don't want to get caught in the backblocks with no power.

For a Voyager: When CC is engaged and you operate any of the controls (clutch, front or rear brake) the system disengages and you need to use the restore or reset the CC to get it to work again.
None of the switch contacts should allow the CC to reengage.
Have you gone through the manuals troubleshooting procedure?
As for your error code that's for "Radiator Fan Relay" trouble.
