As some of you know I was lookin' for lights to put on my saddlebags. I found some on the way home from Americade. I installed them as running/brake lights. put them in the middle of the reflecter tape I already had on the bike.
A couple people asked for pics if I ever got them so here they are.

Those look great! Knowing the co$t of a replacement, I'd be nervous as hell drilling/cutting into the bags though.

They're plastic. You can fix them with glue!

Remember what they say: "Anybody can restore one, but it takes a real man to cut one up!"

Thanks guys and girl http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

LW, I will try to get a pic at night tomorrow night. I took a pic tonight but it didn't turn out very good.

Beez, you know my thoughts on loud pipes http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Bankerfrank, they were kinda tough for me to install, I had to stop at one point and PM audiogooroo. I didn't do a professional job but they work so that's the main thing.
I got them on the way back from Americade. A company named Chrome Glow. They have a web site www.ChromeGlow.com (http://www.ChromeGlow.com)

So, those Harley mufflers look real good on there! What do they sound like?

Looks good TC. I like the little bit of red reflector that's on the backrest too. One question though, Where did you get the little Vulcan logo that's in the center of the fender? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Looks pretty darn good.
I think I'm going to put some sort of nice looking reflectors on mine at first.
I don't have the guts to drill the bags for lights YET.
I guess you have some sort of an easy disconnect for when you want to remove the bags for cleaning and maintenance?

Looks very good TC!!! I've been looking into doing the same thing, but just haven't found the right lights yet. I'll look at the website you posted and see what they've got. I've been looking for a small strip that I can put on the black cross bar under the fender as well. Looking forward to your 'night' pics!!

rewindgy , those are my stock mufflers with Screamin Eagle extensions. They sound good to me , I did the baffelectomy, not loud but now they are a deep tone.

VulcanE , I got that from Ebay. It was advertised as a decal but it is actually a sticker. It has held up lots better than I thought it would. It is advertised as a helmet decal.

REFUGIO, yes I put a trailer connecter on each side. Thats the part I PM'd audioguroo about.

Here are the pics of the lights at night. They look much better in person. I don't know if I'm a lousy photographer or if my camera dosen't like night shots. Probably a combination of both http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

This is running lights.

Very nice job. They look very nice a against the black. I have a light strip on my tourpack and will look into wiring that into the lighting. I'll be your bike goes 2-3 mph faster now too; at least it looks like it will.
