My son took photos of his Nomad loaded with groceries from Walmart while
we were at Americade. His wife saw the photos, now he gets to do some
shopping on his way home from work. :tup::lmao::lmao::lmao:

A heavyweight cruiser isn't necessary for shopping.

You must be very regimented, we go to Cosco for a few things and end up with an overflowing cart!:wtf:

In fairness, this was a hit n run visit, last minute stuff for a bar b que.

But we try to always, and I mean always, go with a list. Otherwise, I walk in for milk and walk out with milk and a flatscreen tv. :wtf:

I never used the bike for shopping or commuting. When it came out of the garage I was gone for the day.

And that's about all I use my bike for nowadays.

You'd be surprised at the advantages of losing 250-300lbs.

You know you've graduated to a heavyweight cruiser;
When you drop it on its side and can't pick the damn thing up by yourself >:

I dropped the Voyager and could not pick it up.
I bought a Yamaha FJR and it felt like a bicycle after the Voyager.

And there are lighter sport tourers than the FJR.

I stopped at the liquor store the other day and I fit 2 boxes of wine one jug of Wild Turkey 2 bottles of wine 2 bottles of vodka and a bottle of rum. The cashier didnt understand it was all going on a motorcycle.
I dropped my Roadmaster 2 weeks ago while making a narrow u turn and it dragged the kury hwy bar pegs. No damage at all to motorcycle. Pick it up no problem. Butt in the seat and lift.

Ya i dropped my Voyager once. No damage as it was sitting still and it was kind of a controlled drop, i just lost my balance on the new bike and I had not put the air shocks in it yet to lower it so i was on my tippy toes. lol But ya put your butt in the seat grab the bars and the passenger crash bar and lift with your legs. Just be careful not to lift to fast, you might go all the way over and that would be bad.

Been there , I dropped my nomad when I first got it in front of a restaurant and got help picking it back up . I saw a video of a small lady picking one up with ease . Now I know how . Haven't done it since though . Quite embarrassing :ohno:
