Here is a photo of my T-bag attached to my fire and steel luggage rack. I have a cinch strap hooked to the bag that wraps around the frame on the back rest, and one running underneath and it cinches up tight and rides great back there. Almost time to hit the highways for two rallies taking place here in Oregon this month.....the Hell's canyon rally in Baker City, and the run 21 a Otis Junction on the pacific coast. The tent and sleeping bag will go on my mustang seat just behind me.

Skullbagger if you are referring to the rack on my Vaquero, it's the Fire and Steel one from Kawasaki and yes, it works like a dream that and the backrest frame to fasten my tour bag on there with just two cinch straps. Easy on, easy off. Schoeny that's a nice ST in your photo. Say, I am only about 32 miles north of Bend....and if you ever come down this way to see your sister we should get in touch and meet up. I can show you roads out here that most people only dream about but if you are a pacific northwesterner you know what that is all about. Please let me know, summer goes by in a blur!

Sounds like a plan. Both Netnorske and I were through your neck of the woods recently. We met up in Maupin on the way to Tahoe.
I love many of the roads in your area.

Maupin is a destiny we shoot for at times when we want to get away from mainstream traffic...nice ride out through there. Tahoe is a great destination as well. The RUN-21 at Otis Junction on the Oregon coast is coming up nest week July 23-6.....going for that one. The Hell's canyon run in Baker city got trashed with rain and thunderstorms this past weekend. I am glad I cancelled.
