Well, looks like Aphrodite will be parked for about 3 months. I finally hung up the combat boots and got hired by the Border Patrol. I swear in on the 12th and I'm off to the Academy on the 16th. Graduation is set for September 3rd in Artesia, NM. The new assignment is in Laredo, Texas just south of San Antonio. Catch yall on the road!!

:) Congratulations Cabby,on landing the job you sought. ;)
Always nice to hear about a vet who is successful in getting a good job in civilian life, especially so if it is something they were reaching for. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif Wishing you great success in your future. ;)

Thanks guys I appreciate it! Laredo is a "ride year round" town but it can get pretty warm at times. I'll have internet access at the academy so I'll post some photos periodically. Take care and ride safe.
