New colors

Hey Trip, are you tweaking things? New colors are not making me happy. Can't read the thread titles. Happy experimenting. Can you do something to get that contrast back?

The red has got to go. It looks real nice on my bike. Reading it with the stark white background and the black letters is pretty difficult.

I really hate change for changes sake. If it corrects a problem fine, but I didn't see a problem before. Oh , yeah , I did. The drop down window where you change to the next page is a pain in the ass. :)

Trip, Thank You for providing such a nice "home". Colors don't matter to me and I think it looks better...

Only real issue I see is that displayed links are black until clicked, then they turn red...you might want to reverse that, they blend in with text and you don't know it's a link unless you mouse-over

OK....final color changes have been made. I made the visited links black and the non-visited in red as suggested by mikesth.

Visited links must not be the same color as non-link text.

Text must be one color, visited links another color, and non-visited links an obvious 3rd color.

BTW, one of our guys here at work is color blind, and he has a lot of trouble reading the site now.

The brighter colors do look very nice, but for what it's worth I'm partially red/green colorblind and it is hard for me to tell between the red and the black lettering. But whatever the majority likes best will work for me, I'll just have to look closer! Just my 2cw.

Trip, I'm OK with the red and yellow. If the backgrounds have to be gray how about some lighter gray? Maybe the lighter gray we have right now for the darkest and another one a little lighter for the alternating one. This dark gray is depressing to look at. Just my opinion.

If you put the lighy gray with the dark gray on the yellow with the red and green...add a little blue then make the the 3rd gray shade lavender...oh never mind.
