txcwdancer - June 2008 First Summer Tour

I'm preparing to depart on my first summer tour of 2008.

Round Rock to Fort Wayne Indiana for a garden conference.
Then on to Niagara Falls to meet up with my sister & BIL from NC for a little sightseeing.
Then down to DC for a day or two.
Then over to the KawaNOW Eastern Rally in Elkins West Virginia.
Finally the ride home to Round Rock on Sunday June 22nd.

I should be on the road in a couple of hours Estimated Departure is 1930. IT is a little over 1200 miles to Fort Wayne. ETA there is 1400 Wednesday.

This high here today was 98 and I'm looking forward to ridding all night in the cool of the eventing and morning. Hopefully the rains have passed. My route will take me through Dallas, Little Rock, West of Memphis, east of St. Louis, and across southern Illinois.

I haven't had time to create my usual blog since I had to work most of the day and just got home. I'll do that from FT. Wayne on Wed evening and upload pictures and post the link here.

Man...looks like the cockpit of a plane or something!!! LOL! Just watch your radar detector if you run through Virginia at all..... they don't take too kindly to them in that state!!! Good luck and I look forward to hearing about it!!

No Internet connection until now. So I'm 24 hours behind.

Arrived at 1600 hrs Wed. My Departure from Round Rock wasn't until 2130 on Tuesday.

No problems. Good ridding and clear weather.
