Here ya go buddy.....the ol' '02 meanie. I miss the thing, it was a blast on the back roads out here. All the customizing and then finally had to say goodbye. I know what you are going through. The transformation from meanstreak to vaquero was well worth it though.

Thanks....those bikes are fun for a second Sunday ride but getting somewhat dated, the 17s have that 6th gear. So many times on the meanie I am still upshifting looking for another gear but in fifth. But....I used to smoke a lot of guys in the corners on that meanstreak.

LOVED my 03 Meanie! Comfy quick and cornered like it was on a rail. I will hopefully have another...

Idhthept......another witness to the uniqueness of the venerable meanstreak. They are a fun bike to mod and ride that's for damn sure.

hlknvlcn60,
I bought a 2013 nomad in January and see you have the 2 to 1 exhaust... I was looking at that system for my bike. Did you gain much performance and fuel mileage?? I am trying to do the research prior to buying, so any info would be great.
Thank you,

RK....yes, that Freedom combat 2-1 pipe is awesome. Quite a few of the members are bolting that exhaust on the Vaqueros and they fit perfect, easiest installation of all of them, awesome cornering clearance, and go to Phatperformanceparts.com .....cheapest price best service. I paid 525.00 with them for mine. Go to their website and call them and ask them about the fit for the Nomad because they show it fitting the Vaquero only. It may require a slightly different rear bracket but should fit the motor and frame the same. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. If the FP pipe doesn't work, the Vance&Hines 2-1 pipe will fit your bike for a few more $$ and will yield the same kind of performance. I have the Roaring Toyz big air kit and Cobra tri-pot manually adjustable tuner and the power increases on my Vaquero are significant, as well as a cooler running engine and better mileage. I average around 43 on the highways in 6th and sometimes even better. If you have the funds for the upgrades, go for it. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.
