Saturday I went with 13 other bikes on a ride to Bodega Bay...where Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" was filmed. We went sccross the San Francisco bay up thru San Fran across the Golden Gate bridge. There was no fog! Then HWY 1 up thru Tomales Bay to Bodega Bay. Had a crummy lunch somewhere unremarkable. Back East to Sebastopol, down HWY101 to Lakeville Rd, HWY 37 to Vallejo. Then HWY780, 680 to home. Beautiful coastal ride. 245 miles.

Then last minute some buddies invited me to ride up to Lake Tahoe Sunday after church. We took HWY 88 to 89 and into Lake Tahoe. Ate at the buffet in Harrahs Casino. AWESOME! Spent the night. Then rode around Lake Tahoe and home via west on HWY 50 to Placerville where we hit HWY 49, HWY 124 thru Ione to 88. At Stockton we took Charter Way (HWY 4 West) thru the delta and home. Nomad ran great. 431 miles.

We stayed in Bodega Bay on our last vacation. Let me tell you the food was fantastic, and we were happy to get out of the rain that chased us there.

What a great ride !! Your work situation reminds me of a t-shirt I saw here at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. It said " Born to Ride... Forced to Work". Enjoy yourself.
