Well....here's the last update on the tire mixup where the dude put the wrong tire (rear tire) on front of my bike. He sent me the corrent tire, I had it mounted, his tire has been sitting in the garage. He called today and asked if I had a chance to get the tires changed out yet. I told him yes. He then said how much do I owe you for having the tire mounted and to ship the tire back. I told him and he is cutting a check to me today so that I will send his tire back to him. He did apoligize once again for all the mess. Okay, that's better now that he is willing to pay for the remount and shipping the other tire back to him. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Glad to hear that you're getting reimbursed for the mixup. Too many times people get stuck with the bill because of other people's screwups. Good for you!

Its good when they step up to the plate, and do the right thing. Maybe he didn't realize he has such a bonehead working there.

That's very nice.... I wouldn't know, but perhaps that might 'buy a little trust', you could be a 'class "A" customer, should you ever decide to return. I ran a car shop for 25 years and I can't say there was never a screw up, as it happens, but like this guy, I always made it worth it to get a good customer back. I think that happened 3 times in 25 years.

"we" only did Euro foreign cars.

I can just imagine the discussions that owner had with his technical staff in the shop! Oh to be a fly on the wall.
