Wife and I took our first big ride on the new to us Voyager this past Sunday. With all the maintenance stuff Ive done figured this bike was ready . We meet 2 other couple at a friends house and we set out for Finley Ohio . We wanted to have a nice meal when we got there so we did some checking on the dinning options in Finley and decided we would eat at a Place called Cheddars . I am familiar with the restraint being I've eaten at them in Florida with my parents . So we set out the ride was nice all state routes all the way up light traffic and we just moved along at a nice pace of about 60 ....Bike ran well , We stopped and had Ice Cream on the return trip at a small mom and pop's place in the little burg of west Liberty Ohio . Very nice day .....I was kinda wondering my bike got right at 36 miles per gallon , which with the cobra tri ovals , K/N air filter and power commander could be good but thought I would ask you guys ... does that sound right ?

That wouldn't surprise me. My 1600 Nomad got 36-38 mpg and I've not heard much different about the 1700. Seems the HDs get better mileage. Not sure about the Victorys. Goldwings can be worse. It sounds within range.

My Victory averages 43mpgs. On pure gas no alcohol it gets 50.

So many variables, right wrist, wind, terrain, load, driving habits, etc. You are in the ball park.

Over the last 14 tanks I've tracked have ranged from a low of 33.9 to a high of 39.6 and an average of 36.8, so you are right there on my average. I have a stock thunder air kit, baffles drilled and a G-man (EJK) fuel controller.

Sounds about right for riding 2 up.
I averaged about 40 mpg on my 2003 1500 Nomad riding solo.
I average about 40 mpg riding solo on my Victory but my right wrist is uncontrollable.

I wish I had taken a picture. Did about 220 miles Sunday. Cruised at about 55 - 60 mph. The trip computer said 51.5 mpg. I calculated at half tank I was around 47 mpg. Going home on
I-75 I was going about 75 mph with my wife on board. Averaged about 42 mpg. This is up from about 38 mpg since I put on Chucksters BAK and have my EJK at optimum settings now. Bike is running cooler too. At one point the bike was on the 2nd hash mark. It was about 87 degrees. Only went up if I got stuck at a light or behind some mope that wanted to do 45 in a 70 mph zone.

Wow, 7 mpg more using real gas.
What was the purpose of ethanol again :hmm::ohno:

It should be drank, not burned.

I get in the low to mid 40's on my 2014 Voyager if the gas meter on my bike is correct
