90% done, changed the final drive and engine oil. checked the torque on the calipers, brake and clutch fluid, coolant and detailed it. Will have it back together for a nice ride tomorrow highs in the upper 60's.

Even had time to take the wife for broasted chicken in the car of course.

I washed the bike today. Dried it with the leaf blower. Then took it up on the highway to blow off the rest of the water. Tomorrow I have to check the air in the tires and get back out for another ride.

At 90 Mph should only of taken you a few miles to dry it off. :D Got the windshield, seat back on this morning. Just need to get the bags on when I get back home. I'll be out my noon.

If I'm doing 90 then you must be cruising at 100 because I ride at the back of the pack. :D Have fun out there today.

We don't usually ride the interstates and I try to keep it at the speed limit well, there are times though..... it's all back together and not a cloud in the sky mid to high 60's. Probably be more bikes out today than cars. I can hear Sweet Evalina's calling my name if you feel like lunch txt my cell. If not enjoy the ride also.

You should have mentioned it earlier. I would have come out there. If I left now I wouldn't get there until 1:30 PM. Will have to keep my ride local today.

Today was a great day. I decided to do part of the CT ride we did last year. Only about 85 miles. It was enough for the first ride.

Martin did you change the final drive oil also? With your back issues you should check into a seat with a built in backrest like Mustang.

He's already got an Ultimate seat. They have a backrest.

No, I did not change the oil in the final drive. I had it changed when I got my new tries last year. I haven't put on enough miles to warrant another change. I will probably do it with my next oil change.

As for the seat, I am not sure that I want to invest in a backrest for my seat until I figure out what I am going to do because I am still looking for more comfort for my butt.

Looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate for this. It's cancelled until later in the season.
