It looks like my clutch safety start switch is giving problems. With the kickstand down, bike in gear and clutch pulled in the engine won't crank, which I think is normal. However once the kickstand is up it should crank and it won't unless I put it in neutral. It acted up a few times some time ago but seems to do it more frequently now. I tried to get it to act up today and if I tried long enough I would get ERROR 21 code come up on the display. I can't find a diagnostic code chart but I suspect it has to do with the clutch switch. Has anyone encountered this problem or know where I can find out what ERROR 21 is. Thanks.

Error code 21 according to the shop manual means Crankshaft sensor fault.
I found this on another forum

Thanks for that info RedJay. Maybe when I was bumping the started to check different situations the crank sensor threw a code. Only did it once. Looks like a warranty issue for the dealer.
