Found these while cruising the net:

Not necessarily visually appealing, but I'm sure my passenger would like it.
No pattern for Kawasakis at this point.

I sent an email to ask if they would do a bolt pattern for our bikes. We'll see...

My bike gained the whole tour pac because the wife hated the backrest.

Somebody is missing the backs off their bar stool! I do admit it looks comfortable for the passenger. Made in America, might be one of the few items left on a Harley that's not made else where.:D

Is that the armrest built by Delmer Graber? I just bought one of those & put on my bike. I was disappointed that it didn't fit properly with the wide backrest on the Nomad. I ended up having to fabricate bracket that would attach the armrests to the backrest. I'm curious as to how you attached them to your bike.

Yes, it took some manufacturing to get it mounted the way I wanted. I took some plate aluminum cut to the shape of the sissy bar and mounted the pad on it and then to the bike. It raised the pad 1 &1/2 inches which allowed me to put the armrest bracket below the pad. That let me put spacers behind the top of the armrest and bolt the bottom to the sissy bar. It made the armrest more level with the bike and they appear to come out of the backrest at the wide point of the pad.
I'll try to get a couple of pictures this weekend so it will make more sense.

Pictures as promised.
Hope you can get the general idea from the pictures. Still need to polish the aluminum plate.

Thanks for the pictures. I ended up using a piece of steel plate that I made a dog leg bend in so that the top is sandwiched between the cushion and the sissy bar and the armrest is bolted to the bottom section of the plate. The armrests are lower and more forward than yours are mounted. My wife is a very small girl and I spent considerable time trying to get them positioned exactly where she wanted them. So far she likes it. If she ever wants them moved I may use your approach. I painted the bracket black so it blends with the armrest.
