I'm pretty sure Tim is buried up to his eyeballs in SNOW....... Right Tim?
I think that means Tim is still hibernating as he waits for spring.

I am going to need a plow truck to get to my plow truck :ohno:
Just be sure to do it before the coming cold temps hit! That snow will be like concrete. We are supposed to hit -12 this weekend.

Tim probably just woke up from his nap after sending Cindy to work. You know that those retired people need all the sleep they can get.

Amen to that. Work is more stressful than you realise, until you retire.

No I do not like snow >:(
But I can't move because all my stuff is here and Cindy has a job she likes.

Yeah I get her off to work and sometimes she calls me and wakes me up :ohno:
She don't get it that I need my rest, figuring out what I want to do, and when I want to do it is very stressful.:yep:

I was going easy on ya with the 1000. It's actually at 1389 for the year. I didn't do but 21000 all last year. Working 7 days a week kept getting in the way. Seriously though fellers, I couldn't go over 2 weeks with out my motorcycle riding fix. Wife thought as was crazy as hell when she walked in my shop, unknowingly to me may I add, and she heard me said "I love you girl" to my bike( as I rubbed the hand grip). Thought I said it to her and she said it back. Scared the heck out of me for a second.:hmm:
Couldn't live with all the damn snow!! >:(

There are machines for riding in the snow and they are a "blast". However, they are just as pricy as the two wheeled kind. Beg, borrow, or steal one if you get to Jonesing and go for a ride.

I used to ride snowmobiles Duffy.
Back when I rode you could buy one for $800 new.
Of course you could only ride them on weekends as you were working on them during the week to keep them running :yep:
Today they are much more reliable and much more expensive.
I just can't see that kind of money to ride something 3 months out of the year.

I hear you.........first new bike I bought cost me just a tad over $600 with tax and license (73' Yamaha DT1 250). I also would be hard pressed to spend the bucks for a snowmobile.

Say what?
Ride my motorcycle 3 months out of the year :hmm:
I know we don't get to ride year round like some of you guys do.
We do ride more than 3 months though.
Usually put them away first week of November and get them out some time in March, April at the latest.
Soooooooo, we ride 7 months in a year.
Granted November and March are a little chilly at times :D

What most (and I did say most, not all) fail to say is the 4 months of the year they don't ride because it is to hot.
I don't have any experience with it being too hot to ride or whatever sense of longing that engenders, and perhaps I am just getting old, but I confess that with the mercury at -8 this morning I had no longing whatsoever to ride my bike. I'd have rather stayed home and hibernated, like Tim, but since I had to go to work, the truck was just fine with me.
Of course the ST doesn't have heated grips and seats like BD and the other XCT riders, so maybe that would make a difference. (Figured I'd just go ahead and say it before one of them did! :D)
Are you still tired Tim?, or did you get in another rest?

Until I saw your bottom caption, I was going to say that looks a lot like southern New Mexico. The last time I rode through that area, I wanted to visit White Sands, but it was closed due to a government shutdown.
