I was at a bike gathering when I saw a motorcycle with a sidecar coming down the road. There was a young boy (looked too young to drive) on the bike and an older man in the sidecar. I thought it was weird and watched it go by. I then realized that the sidecar was open in the back and the man was in a wheel chair. I thought how cool is that. The bike then pulled into the parking lot where I was at. I then realized the guy in the sidecar was the one driving the bike.

About 27 years ago there was a guy in Cherryville PA. that had one, he also was in a wheel chair and his wife sat on the bike but he had the controls.

That is one for some of us here to remember, if we can.

It looks like a neat project, was it a factory built kit or is it home made?

Saw a couple on a Wing going thru the Hill Country with a wheelchair strapped to the back. Couldn't tell whos chair. Awesome for them to work around disability to enjoy life.

On a somewhat similar note, a lady we ride with on occasion, lost her lower left leg in an bike accident and she now has an automatic trike so she can continue to ride.

That is really cool. I'm glad he can still get around like that.
