Notice the speedy green paint?

A low angle shot, in a state park on Rt 6, PA

Another low angle from the back. Yes, those ARE .50 cal rounds, inert, of course.

Finally, one from a month ago, at a turn out on Rt 97, NY - The Hawk's Nest

Nice bike (Army green?) and nice pix, but you have far too few doo-dads added onto your bike; mirrors, ergo duallys, backrest plate, fender tips, ?saddlebag space fillers? ?mp3 player? Forum ettiquette dictates at least 6-8 add-ons at the time of purchase of your Nomad of which 2 must have cost you at least over $200 or be hand fabricated. License plate frames don't count and fender tips only counts as one add-on. In the first year of ownership of your bike you must add one new item each month and then every three months thereafter until such time the forum doo-dad board adjudicates your Nomad as nearly perfect. If you remove any approved add-on you must submit in writing the reason with supporting documentation (i.e. doctor's note, written police citation questioning the legality of your accessory, etc)

Does he get any extra credit for putting machine gun bullets on a motorcycle?

Only if accompanied by the gun itself.

OK, OK, my apologies for my severe lack of do-dads.

Let's see if I can come close. Right off, there isn't anything that cost over $200 but, I do plan on spending that when I get a chance (and the extra cash).

I've got:

Kuryakyn Dually Highway Pegs
Kuryakyn Ellipse Mirrors
Kuryakyn Iso-Grips
Electro-Pods LED Aux. brake lights
.50 cal rounds mounted on a handmade bracket (along w/ the Electro-Pods)
2 1/2 inch "Chuckster" Risers
National Cycle Fender Tips
Took the back rest apart to insert reflective tape so that it would show through the cut outs in the trim piece. (What a pain in the neck, BTW...hint...don't take the backing off the tape, just sandwhich it in there.)

The fender tips came close to $200 for the three piece set, does that count? Oh, I did have to hunt through an Army desert firing range way back when to get two perfect .50 cal rounds to solder into the brass I got out of the brass bucket. I'm planning on adding the CWI spotlight brackets and lights as well as a J&M CB/ Weather radio with the aux input for my MP3 player which I currently use the old fashioned way.

Finally, once I find the appropriately sized US Army medallion(s), I'm going to figure a way to attach them to the air cleaner covers. I didn't set out to purposely have an Army themed bike but...... Since it's green and I was in for so long, I'm kinda heading that way and might as well.

I respectfully submit my ideas to the KawaNow Forum Doo-Dad Board of Governors for thier review and, hopefully, favorable adjudication. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

The board is duly impressed and forthwith has issued a favorable decision in your case and has abandoned its previous ruling; in other words keep up the good work.
