Hi guys...I have a Kodak Easy share Z650 camera that I would like to be able to upload pictures to my PC .The op system is Windows 7 Home Premium. The PC will not accept the original outdated Kodak CDRom program I have. Kodak's website says they no longer support it (its pretty old) and downloads are no longer available.
Sooooooo....where do I go from here? Is there some way I can plug the camera into the PC and use an existing windows 7 program? Just so you know, I'm comfortable working with computers but by no means am I an I.T. Tech. You I.T. types please keep your responses on the 'PC's for dummies' level, okay?:yep:

Can you take the camera memory stick out and insert it into your computer memory stick port?

If you can you can copy/move the pictures using Windows Explorer.

The camera should have a USB plug that plugs in to your computer. After it's plugged in you should have an external drive that shows up in My Computer. If you double click on the drive and just go through the directories you should see your pics.

If you are using the internal memory of the camera, rather than an SD or MMC card you will probably be limited to using the Easy Share Software method to transfer the pictures to the PC. Since this isn't working due to your issue with the software I would suggest you use an SD card in the camera and transfer the pictures from the internal memory to the card.

If your PC has an SD slot you should be able to plug the card in there and transfer the pictures. (Like JD Hog suggested)

Good news. The camera does have SD capability but I won't need to use it after all. I found a newer version of the Kodak Easyshare program and was able to upload it to my PC. Soon as I brush up on how to operate this camera I'll try to post some pictures.

Thanks for the help!
