Dish soap and water when I'm doing a regular wash. Lemon Pledge on the windscreen and for touch ups.

I use Simple Green, mixed 50/50 with water, it's cheap and works great. Lemon Plege for the windshield, and paint, after washing.

Spray Simple Green on all parts that picked up bugs, let it soak while I mix up the dish soap and hot water, wash bike and blow dry with leaf blower.
Then repeat on Cindy's bike  When mama is happy we are all happy :D

You realize that using dish soap strips the wax off your paint.

I've been using the S100 for years. Used it on the Nomad and on my HD especially for the hard to reach spots. She only gets a water bath a couple of times a year or after getting caught in a shower. I normally just use Pledge for cleanups and Cordoba wax 3 or 4 times a year.

I do not understand this..."wash" you speak of. Is that when you ride in the rain?

I use Mequiars Liquid Gold car wash.
+1 on the Meguiars
Dish soap and many cleaning products will take off most waxes and is NOT good for clearcoat finishes.

No, its when it rains so hard that you cant see the road and you have to abandon the ride that is a wash!!......your bike gets a drink of water too when it rains that hard.

I had heard Simple Green is not good on aluminum. Someone said it is listed on its label. Just thought I would mention it just in case; but likely you would have already seen any damage by now...

You forgot to read the very small print "Damage may occur to Harley and Victory chrome only. All other brands are ok.":lmao:

I use RainX aerosol glass cleaner on the windshield, lights, and all painted surfaces. It's the best for getting off bugs and gunk!

I used to use the S100 products and I've used various Harley products. The best and easiest thing Ive found though is just filling my bucket with hot water and dipping a microfiber towel in it to wash the bike and another microfiber to dry. It works great, the hot water removes bug and crap easily.

I used to use the Mr Clean car wash kit, but the jerks discontinued it so I occasionally pop into a car wash and spray it down from enough distance that it doesn't hurt the old girl.

Warm water and 2 microfiber towels like someone mentioned above. For touch ups, Turtle Wax has a spray on cleaner/wax that works really well.
Hand wax twice a year or so...
Tim, I did the leaf blower a couple of times and neighbors thought I was crazy! It got her nice and dry though, no spots.

I use the leaf blower every time.
Neighbors already know I'm crazy.
