Hi all Eastern Attendees! Right now there are about 38 of us...most coming in Thurs and few for Fri/Sat only.
I have reserved a back room http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif(careful now) at the Western Steer Family Steakhouse for Thurs - June 19 for arrival of the group between 6-7 pm. It is across the street from the Super 8. They have steaks, chicken, a buffett or you can order off the menu.
Kawgirl and I are hoping that we can workout a cookout (hamburgers/ hotdogs) for Sat night at the Super 8 grounds. We're hoping some of you guys who live close can help with getting grills to the Super 8. Any willing grill king chefs out there? We will put out a money jar for the eats if we do the grill out. If we grill out Sat night we thought that would be a good wrap up and we could do the door prize drawings then. Then all will be ready to head home on Sunday.
So....vote...suggestions....help with sat night....jump on in.

Here's the cookout deal. Elkins City Park is 1/2 mile from the hotel. They have pavillions and grills at the park. We can rent a pavillion so we have tables and shade. Here is what is posted on their website. I didn't google the park until just a few minutes ago so I didn't know the office hours when I tried to call at 3:45. I did leave them a message. I have no idea what a small versus a large pavillion is nor do I know what the Sycamore Street Pavillion is but here is their rental pricing list. Feedback please..........
Elkins City Park:
• Large Pavilion:
$30.00 half Weekday
$60.00 Full Weekday
$50.00 Weekend
• Small Pavilion:
$20.00 half Weekday
$35.00 Full Weekday
$35.00 Weekend
• Sycamore Street Pavilion:
$30.00 half Weekday
$35.00 Full Weekday
$35.00 Weekend
Prices cover events up to 150 people

Whatever you feel is best go ahead and plan it. So for about $1 per person we can get the facilities? Works for me...

I'm happy that everyone is happy if I'm happy with what I decide. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif
If I can call before 3:30 tomorrow, I will reserve a large pavillion. I'll find out the details. Hopefully, they can fax me the reservation form or whatever and will hold until a check gets there in the mail. I'll let all you happy people know what's shakin'.

Since the pavalians have the picnic tables under them I guess the size - full vs half depends on how many tables there are. Let's see-usually you can seat - what six at one picnic table.....our count right now is back down to 36 ....6 tables ....of course that's given everybody sitting all at one time?

OHHHHHHHH NO!!!
I draw the line at group hugging. I think Trip should step in and outlaw all references to group hugs.

Okay folks - we got a restaurant group room for Thurs Night and one for Friday night . Kawgirl has the pavilion reserved for grilling out at the park for Sat night. We'll have itineraries with rides and restaurant(s) info at the motel - may put abbreviated info on as a new thread right before the rally. Must eat to keep up our strength to ride!
Now - everybody run over something on the way to Elkins and bring it with you to grill....hehehe.
