Hey Everybody,
I left home and rode W on I-40 to Marion, NC and met up with Bigdave. We talked some, got gas, and hit the road up the mountain. We arrived at the NC Veterans Cemetery just before noon. Paid our respects to my Dad and all the other Veterans and just took in the beauty of the place. I took some pics of the Nomads at the cemetery. After that we rode into Swannanoa NC and ate at "Okie Dokies" Smokehouse. Great meal, pulled Pork Sandwich with beans and slaw and some goooood!!! Sweet Tea. After eating and getting our bellies full, we saddled up and headed back down the mountain toward home. Bigdave dropped of at Marion, NC and I continued on toward home.
What a Great Day! Big dave thanks for the ride, I enjoyed meeting you, we'll have to do more of this.
Back home - trip 376 Miles. A very good day indeed!
