Hi all,
I am new to the forum and hopefully posting this is the right place. I have a 2003 Vulcan 1500 with just about every part available (but crank). I recently aquired the bike from someone who owed me some cash but couldn't pay. Was told the bike had 600 miles on it when it was dropped while running which ruined the crank. It wasn't laid down at speed was litterally dropped at a stop light while running. I was given the bike but I will call it a "basket case" because have the all the parts in boxes from the engine. All other parts of the bike are in tact on the bike itself. I think the story is probably true as they have the plates on it and the last time it was registered was in 2005. Either way, it doesn't have many miles on it.
Sorry for the long story but if you are interested in a part, you would have asked me how I think it has low miles. Now you know.
On the flipside, if any of you have a good engine that would bolt in my bike, I might be interested. I have so many boxes of parts and no time to try and put the existing one back together.
