I'm not much of a music person, I enjoy it but it's never been what makes my world go round. I'm diggin the stereo on this new ride but hate searching for radio stations while I'm on a long ride. I've never had want or need of an ipod or mp3 player and buying one, buying the cable, downloading a bunch of music just seems like a pain in the ass.

All that being said, when I hanker for some tunes I just usually fire up the Pandora app on my phone.

My question is this. Is there a way to transmit Pandora via fm or Bluetooth to the stereo without spending an arm and a leg?

The stereo on the Voyager (and I assume the Vaquero) does not have Bluetooth capability. Your option is to wire in an aux output or a iPod connector to the connection that is in the fairing pocket on the left hand side. Kawasaki sells both of these for $100.

Buy a second hand Ipod player and a used Ipod connection kit and have 1000's of songs on hand to play through the Voyager speakers. Works for me.

I have a Sena bluetooth headset in my helmet and stream from my smart phone to the helmet speakers.

I sucked it up and bought the cable for my phone from Kawasaki and stream my pandora that way.

How's the sound quality? Did you put a charging port in your glove box?

I mounted my phone to my handlebars right in the middle with an ram mount. I also use it a lot for Navigation.

For now I ran the sound cable out the glove box over to the phone with a few Velcro straps to keep it in place. Same with power from the cig lighter aux power under the right hand glove box. You really can't see them, it is pretty clean but I will get around to running permanent wires for both soon and hit the handle bars by following the throttle cables or the clutch.

Sound quality is as good as the FM, no problems at all until you drive out of network range. But I am on Verizon so that does not happen very often. I have a bunch of songs in a folder on the phone for that. And I use an Android app called Co-Pilot for Nav, got the whole US on the phone. Don't need data, just food and gas. :)

There are some other threads about bluetooth connection, some have purchased a small bluetooth receiver and the Kawai audio cable, and have been able to sync the bluetooth without having to hard wire it.here is a link to a thread about it.
