I really didnt plan on trading until I rode the Indian Chieftain. It would have been cheaper just to say no to a test ride. I loved the way the Chieftain felt like riding a 750 with tons of power. It is the best handling bike I've ever owned, which there has been many. I had heard stories from my dad about riding an Indian with the hand shifter and I just fell for the nostalgic look of the bike. You all be safe out there this summer, I know a lot of us nothern folks have had a long rough winter.
I just put my Mustang seat up in the classifieds.

Congrats on the new ride, I'll be taking a ride a ride down to the Indian dealer to give them a once over, they do look pretty good. Although the Canadian price will probably be astronomical.
Enjoy your new ride. Polaris really seems to have done a fantastic job with the new Indian line. Have only heard great things about them.

Congrats on the new ride.
I was up close & personal with the Indian motorcycles when a I was in Daytona during Bike Week, nice bikes. Talk to a few reps (the girls were very nice also...) my favorite one was Chief Vintage, I like the look of the brown leather! Polaris did a great job with the Indian line. My wife said she would scalp me if I traded in the Goldwing, sorry no pun indented.
Enjoy your new ride!

Can't say that I blame you. I took the Chieftan for a ride when Indian had their demo weekend down here back in November. Fell in love with the skoot and I was so thoroughly impressed with so many aspects of the skoot for a first time effort.
Have fun with it and enjoy!!

The new Indians are the only Motorcycles on my curent "next bike wish list".
What's stopping me?
I still love my Nomad and its paid for.
I like the Chief, but not with soft bags.
I like the Chieftain, but not the faring.
Not to mention $$$ a bit tight right now.
Enjoy your new ride.

Hmmmm.Maybe we should start an exporting business?
