Well,
I bit the bullet and bought a new Indian Chieftain. I thought my Vaquero had a lot of power and bells and whistles but the Indian has more. It by far is the most powerful and easy riding motorcycle I have ever ridden.

That's my next motorcycle too. But I'm going to wait few more years. From what I see many of the accessories are not available yet and many believe a tour pack model is coming. I test rode it a few times last year and it is awesome. The electric windshield is fantastic. Also from what I hear it is very reliable so far. Good luck and enjoy it. Thank goodness winter is over.

Congrats, I really like the new Indians but the closest dealer to me is in Salt Lake City. 400 miles away. If I bought one and had any kind of trouble, that would be a major PITA. There is a Victory dealer here close but so far they don't have the Indians.
That is an awesome looking ride. Enjoy!

The 111 is a nice, powerful motor. The Chieftain is a beautiful bike. Personally, I don't want one because of the fit (it's a little snug for me) and the lack of hard lowers. If they'd fix those 2 things, I'd consider one for my next bike. Congrats and as BD said, welcome to the Polaris family. :)

CONGRATS...I rode the Cheiftan at the Indian demo ride back in November and fell in love with it. Polaris did one helluva fine job for a first year effort.
The Indian engine is a stump puller, the Vulcans do not compare at all.
ENJOY
