Hi: Does anybody have the paint code for the 2012 Lime Green Vaqureo ? Thinking of doing some costume work on my Vaqureo.

This is the only thing I have been able to find.

http://www.colorrite.com/product/kawasaki-candy-lime-green-1534.cfm

I have even had some paint shops looking. If anyone finds the actual paint code, i would love to have it, too.

You guys know it is a candy color. It will be at least a 2 part paint. I saw a dealer paint a fender with supposedly factory paint and it didn't match. It came out to pale.

I'm confused???? You're getting a costume made to wear while riding the bike? Sort of a "Caped Crusader" superhero thing? :lmao:

Sorry Spanky, I just couldn't resist.

I see I spelled it wrong. But I like the caped crusader part. I was told by a chevy guy that it is the same green as the new camaro green. Which is synergy green , a 3 part (tri-coat) paint. I had the code but lost it. I will find it and let you know.

Ok , I got all the colors needed to touch up the green from Color Rite, a tri-stage color. But it's a candy color , from one angle it looks good but at a different angle not even close, so back to other options. Most likely, gonna give the bike to my pinstripe buddy.

Camaro green is definitely different. I was parked next to a Harley that was custom painted the Camaro green. It is different when you see them side by side.

It is pretty much impossible to touch up a 3 stage color, if that is what you are doing, and have a real good match. That is why body shops blend a large area when doing repairs to 3 stage pearls. Each layer changes the flop and depth. Trying to replicate that with a brush or even spraying on a small area won't match. Sounds like you may have a plan B.
