I have a stock exhaust and intake on my Vaquero. I just put the K&N air filter in. I feel a fair amount difference in pull throughout the power band. The way the air filter seats up to the airbox is a little clumsy of a fit but I'm happy with the results. There was a pretty good flat spot out of the hole that I hate. Its a lot better machine just from this filter.

YES...the K&N does offer a nice benefit for a simple drop-in mod. On my dyno the K&N made about 2 more H.P.

Modifying the throttle to eliminate the throttle response lag programmed into the ECU will also improve throttle response even more and will help extract all the performance your skoot has in it's current configuration.

Ive seen a post or two about it, I meant to ask if this was reversible? I had a VTX 1800 that had a lot of low end torgue and a sensative throttle. I had to be careful over railroad tracks not to blip the throttle. It does seem that I have to roll the throttle halfway around before I get a decent reaction. What do I need to do to head in this direction?
