Beavers Bend/Broken Bow Oklahoma

The wife and I decided to take a two day trip. We never plan ahead. Just threw tent and sleeping bags on and went. Left Palestine Texas and headed north. ended up in Broken Bow ok. Beavers bend resort/park is a beautiful place. Good camping sights, lots to do. Great fishing as well and incredible sights. Worth while trip.

how do you take a passenger and two sleeping bags?

I only camp when going alone because I can't fit everything.

took a military day pack and secured the bags on top of em. Just ordered a large sissy bar bag and am gonna get top rails for hard bags. then i will put my sleeping bags on top of them.

glad you enjoyed your trip, I have camped out a few times there in the state park and was flooded out in a severe thunderstorm once in may. :-)

the first night was rough. had a tornado ten miles to the north. we had lots o wind and hail at the campground. but was a nice trip anyway.
