I have a different issue with my ipod. I listen to my music on random mode. So I cant get have way through a song and and skips on it's own to another song. It doesnt do this when I have connected in my car. So I figured it has to do with the ipod connector? Any feedback would help? Thanks..

You didn't say what ipod you have. I have an ipod classic and the vibration from the engine at certain rpms makes it skip. I was going to get a newer ipod but went bluetooth and can stream from my phone in my pocket. Bluetooth in helmet.

Certain models of IPODs have a shake to skip feature (ipod touch and iphone I believe). Designed so when you give it a quick shake it skips to the next song. Vibrations on a motorcycle could easily trigger this. Should be able to disable it easily in the settings.

I have a bluetooth head set also, I use it time to time and when Im talking too my wife when riding 2up. Just like to use this great feature we pay our hard earned money for.

+1 on this thought. I figured that out one day while running with my iphone. I'd take 2 or 3 steps and it would skip to the next song. There is an option to disable it in the settings.

Didn't know the later ones had that feature. Good luck.

I read on another forum the hard drive versions were not to be used on the bike. I had problems with my classic not working or skipping so bought a nano never had a problem since. Notice the warning note from the Kawasaki web site.
