....with the new Mustang seat and backrest. I debated on getting the ultimate or the Russell Day Long. Almost went for the RDL because everybody raves about it. But I really didn't care for the way it looked. I know, I know so what, your sitting on it. Still, since my permanent setup is solo, I like the looks of the Mustang and it matches the Mustang tank bibb. It's a huge improvement over the stock seat. Of course, almost anything would be. I had to muscle the seat around to get the fender bolt in, but it wasn't too bad. I really didn't notice it being seated forward compared to the stock seat, as some have commented. Anyway, here's a few pics:

I've owned four Mustang seats and they've all fit me very well. Congrats on your new, improved seat.

Thanks, I don't know why I waited so long. It should have been one of my first mods.

A Mustang seat was the first mod on my 2007 Nomad. Couldn't stand the stock seat.

Same... Even with the cost of shipping to NZ adding close to another $100 to it - I'd done the research and short-listed a couple of eBay sellers of Mustang seats with drivers backrests before I even picked my '02 up from its previous owner.

This one's only my second Mustang, but I'll be back for another for my next bike too.
