I was just wondering what is the purpose of the strap between the driver and passenger seats?

Is it a retracted seat belt? :)

Actually that is the strap that goes over the passenger seat. Its like a grab rail for the passenger.

Hey Cabby, I was just looking at your highway bar covers, and I am pretty sure they are on backwards... Swap them over, and I think that will solve the bunching, and fitment problems you have with them. Let me know if that fixes it... I'm gonna PM you also, just to make sure that you get this....

I think they are not only on the wrong side they are also upside down.

Ok problem corrected. They were not upside down but they were on the wrong side. Thanks for the heads up!!
