finally seen another nomad

Of all places it was in a near by town. The wife said she seen it 3x. Its green/silver and the guy is wearing a HD jacket.
Its the 1st nomad I've seen on the road.Everything is HD around here.

Can't say much about the HD jacket I had a comfy pair of HD boots I wore until I wore them out.

I was through Palmerton twice today and saw bikes but not one was a Nomad

Fresno/Clovis is a Harley town. For every metric cruiser I see here there are 50 Harleys. For every Nomad there are probably 400 Harleys. In nearly 5 years that I've owned a Nomad I've seen exactly two Nomad owners (& one Drifter) that I've actually stopped and talked too, and maybe half a dozen others just passing by.

We have one dealer selling Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki/Yamaha/Polaris. We have one BMW dealer that doesn't sell much of nothing. We have 2 shops in town and 4 in the immediate area that sell nothing but Harleys and another couple selling nothing but harley Clones. There is one more dealer who sells Triumph & Ducati & is supposed to be a Kawasaki dealer, but you never see any big cruisers in his shop.

I noticed that when I was in NY and Pa last summer that Kawasaki dealers are far and few between (as they are here also) but HD dealers are all over with large billboards giving you distance and directions to almost every location.

I must be in the minority. I see a Nomad almost every week. There must be a few that live near me (Tampa, FL). I'm currently at Myrtle Beach (Bike Week) and I've seen a few here already.

I went riding yesterday with 2 other Nomads (members of this forum) and have 2 other friends riding Nomads, So I must be one of the lucky ones.

I see nomads all the time, I talk too as many riders as I can to tell them about this site. and I have a nice pair of H-D riding boots, and one are two H-D shirts. what can I say they have some cool stuff. but the kawnow rally shirt will be the most worn when it shows.

I only know of one other Nomad guy in my riding group. I actually saw a Mean Green about 2 weeks ago out on US 19 heading the opposite direction.

Got a couple compliments down at the Trop today at the ball game on my Nomad. My wife and I road down to the game, my 4 boys took the truck. We had a great time.

I heard on TV the other day that there are 130,000 registered motorcycles in AZ. The favorable climate makes this a biker's paradise of sorts. There are actually more Kawsaki dealers in the metro area than HD dealers, which I wouldn't have guessed if I didn't just research it. I see quite a few Nomads, but not near enough. One ride I went on with a large non-brand specific group there were 4 Nomads. That's the most I've ever seen in one place.

I will admit to owning a shirt from HD of Honolulu. I'd have a closet full of Kawasaki/vulcan/nomad shirts if they sold them. Another example of Kaw's half-assed marketing effort. Oh, you can buy shirts at a Kaw dealer, if you don't mind Ninja green.

My buddy with the Road Glide has at least one HD shirt from every state.

I've got at least 3 black Vulcan shirts. I got them at the VROC rally charity raffle, so not sure if they came from a dealer. You can buy them on WWW.buykawasaki.com (http://WWW.buykawasaki.com) though.

There were about 50 bikes at the last HSVROC I went to and about half were Nomads.

But I don't see them around here. I've usually got to ride quite a way to see more than 2 nomads in the same place.
