Well guys It’s time for me to say signora from the Kawasaki forums. I recently purchased a Triumph Thunderbird so I’m moving on. I have thoroughly enjoyed the comradely and helpful information that I found on this forum and for the record, I still believe the Nomad is by far the best cruiser on the market that money can buy. I have nothing but praise for my Nomad which I sold to a friend, but the first bike I ever rode was a British parallel twin (BSA Lightening) when I was sixteen years old and I’ve always wanted a parallel twin of my own and I love my Tbird. Since my fathers ancestors came to America in 1602 from Great Britain I suppose I have a little cockney in my blood and I‘ve even put a Union Jack decal on the back of one of my helmets!. Well adios guys and gals and keep the forum going. I’ll steer my friend to you and I’m sure it will be as rewarding for him as it was for me.

I know what you mean. My first bike was a 67 Triumph 650. Loved that bike. Actually, I've loved every bike I owned.

Your Thunderbird really looks great!

You're welcome to hang around, we even let the Harley and Victory guys stick around. :D

Enjoy your new bike!

No need to wander off. It's not what you ride, its that you ride.
Looked at your Thunderbird picture. NICE!.......but....don't they put kick stands on British bikes?................:lmao:

Congrats on the new ride!! My Dad always talks fondly of a Triumph he owned and I would have considered one prior to buying my Nomad but sadly there are no dealers less than 150 miles away and I was concerned if I had problems about getting it worked on.

Congrats on your new bike. I love Triumph cruisers. I'll always have a Nomad in my stable but may add a Triumph, Thunderbird or Rocket, in the future.

That bike is sharp... especially "in person". I saw one at a HD dealer who also sells Triumphs.

That motor is huge on that bike...

:lmao:

Broken hearted and all tore up aren't we?:wtf:

Keep it up. I see a future in sandals, pressed shirts, stinking cigars and a motorbike with 3 more cubic inches that keeps you constantly seeking approval from others for you mister. :wtf:

:D:D

I am sure you will love the T-bird, but why leave us. It is all about you riding, not so much what you ride.
