O.k. so I changed my pcv for a Cobra Power pro. With the pcv I never did better then 36mpg. Due to some recent posts I am using 89 octane and I ventured out and have been much easier on the throttle then usual. I road 120 miles and when I was filling up my gas tank the pump first stopped at 2.6 gallons. I thought it was broke. I then was able to get 2.8 gallons in. 42.85 mpg. I am pretty surprised. I then road to the end of Long Island and after 160 miles I put on 3.8 gallons. So now I hit 42 mpg. I am happy tha the fuel light never went on after 160 miles. I was two up whole time.It used to come on at 140-150. Rides great very little popping out of the V&H slip ons or the thunder air intake. Very happy with the Power Pro. I used to think some of you guys who said they get over forty mpg were exaggerating or lying. I understand now that it is possible. Sorry for doubting you guys. Ride on.

Strictly stock and get 42 MPG almost always :yep:
It has enough power for the way I ride and is reliable.
That is all I need :D

The power pro has the Nomad in zen mode. Completely calm and confident. I am constantly looking at other motorcycles but with my big lowers killing any buffeting and the power pro making the motor just as it should be plus the added benefit of kawasaki putting cruise control on, I dont see any changes in the near future. I am a Victory fan and may switch one day but the Nomad has many more miles to ride. Looking forward to the new Indian 111 thunder stroke being revealed at the end of this week in sturgis. Definitely on the short list for future motorcycle in my garage.
