PhatRiser II from Scootworks...
I was off work today, so I drove up to the Scootworks shop to look around. Being only an hour away, I had always wanted to check 'em out, but just never made the trip. Great guys there, very helpful, and I made an impulse buy :D
Just finished installing them, and my bike feels more comfortable than I could ever have imagined!
Can't wait for the rain to stop (16 days and counting) so I can put some miles on the bike and see how they are during distance rides.

I put these on my 1700 Nomad a couple of months ago and love them. The 1700's bars are a little closer to the rider than the 1600s.
These get the bars a little farther up and away from you knees, yet not too tall to make your hands fall asleep.
Set the cruise and it's a very relaxed position.

I put the Phat II's on my 05 1600 & loved em! Then I went the next step to 14" apes & love them even more! My back & shoulders sure love em!14's put my hands just below shoulder height so there's no problem with numb hands. Enjoy your risers but if you get a chance to try some mini apes, do it!

I've been unable to ride due to rain everyday. It has rained everyday since I returned from my road trip on June 26th. I have never seen water standing in my yard the entire 18 years of living here. There is about 3" standing in the back yard. I tried to mow the lawn last Saturday, ending up sticking the lawn tractor, so was going to pull it out with my 4X4 Dodge and ending up sticking it. I had to go to my neighbors and use his John Deere tractor to get the truck out. What a mess.

Looks like we might get a little break tomorrow Robert... I'm planning on a ride for sure, even if it's a short one. You have any plans?
