Now I gotta explain to the wife how we're not going to ride in the High Sierra to go see people she actually knows somewhat, and are instead going to ride across the Mojave Desert in June to meet this bunch of guys who aren't getting enough porn in their web diet.

I'm in kind of a spot here. :-/

BTW, I'm still planning to be in Mesquite. I'm just trying to figure out how I can stretch this into a trip around the Grand Canyon without it ending in divorce. My wife is freaking a bit when I told her it was going to be 1500 miles this Summer.

You just have to decide which rallies you want to attend and go for it. I am giving up the VROC Great River Rally in Boscobel, WI and the OKVROC Spring Fling to have the money to attend the Central KawaNOW Rally. And the wife is not coming to the KawaNOW rally to save vacation so we can go the VROC Wolfman Wandering Rally in Coo's Bay, OR. You just attend the Rallies that you think is right/best for you and yours.

I noticed the conflict in dates some time ago too and like Cad I was think'n why the desert in June when we could do the Sierra's, but we're do in'r in Mesquite. We do plan on Coos Bay in July too. See ya there Watchman.
