Has anyone put the Rivco risers on their Nomad. The ones made for the Nomad raire the bars 3/4" and pull back 2". Which is more of a pull back than the aeromach, (1 1/2"). I don't need much rise, just the pull back.
I realize that the phatt II's pull back 3", but that number seems to be in question because of alternate holes you have to utilize where you mount to the triple tree that puts them closer to the windshield.

If the set back is 2", be very careful the first time you turn the handlebars each way as they will probably hit the nacell. I make risers and the 2" will raise the bars 1 7/8 and you will gain set back of 1 1/4"to 1 3/8" depending on how you rotate the bars. Check my sig line for pics of the risers and also larger lowers for the Nomads

I've been told that the Rivco risers will work. But, after checking the space between the nacell and stock bars, I don't see how they wouldn't hit.
Thanks

I decided on chucksters risers. It allows me to sit straight and looks are in the lines of the tach area. Rode 150 plus miles in the last couple of days. Completely satisfied with the change in position as well as look and install. Quality material. Would recommend highly.

I installed Chuckster's two inch risers a few weeks ago. Did a 187 mile trip a week ago and a 183 miler yesterday and my back has never felt better. With my 33 inch sleeve length, the pull back from the two inchers was just enough for me to sit up straighter and that really helped.

Chuckster, I was looking at your pics of the Kawasaki risers. Where did you get the risers with the solid cap piece across the top? I recently (and finally) gave in and ordered the Phat II because I couldn't find a decent solid piece cap. I like the one in the picture, and was curious where you got it.

That one piece cap is actually a HD ingnition switch that I put into a bridge cap I make. This gives you the switch right up where it should have been in the first place. They finally caught on when they did the 1600 Nomad.
Wish I would have known earlier as I do have another one all made up, was taking it with me to Maggie Valley for the SEVROC rally as a fellow rider was buying it till he had a accident. He's ok , but the bike went to salvage.
