vaq windshield bag

ive searched the net and cant find anything other than HD bad thst are curved and wont fir the flat top of the guage cluster on vaq. please help. lokking for a two or three bag pouch.

I tried to find one over the winter and never happened. Thinking maybe tank bib with pocket. But they aren't cheap.

Over the winter I mounted the Kuryakyn Traditional 3-Pouch Fairing Bag Touring 4178 on my Vaquero. I originally saw a posting on the site where a member mounted on a Voyager and it looked good. here is a link to the post:

I used auto mounting tape to secure the bag to my windscreen instead of a fastener.

I have wanted one of these since I got my Vaquero, thanks for the link and ideas. I will think about using auto tape or maybe even velcro for easy removal if looks like that would work. Oh, and yes, already ordered one :)

i recently purchased a windshield pouch from alscycleparts on ebay, you can search #1211101114005 they can be found in his store, they are made by UNIK, it has 4 matal tabs on the bottom and they need to have a hole drilled in each, and bend them toward the back in a 60 degree angle, remove the windshield locate the pouch where the 2 center tabs are aprox, 1 inch from the windshield, (MAKE SURE YOU USE TAPE OR SOMETHING ON YOUR DRILL BIT TO AVOID GOING TOO DEEP AND DAMAGING WIRING ETC.) install anchores and each screw as you drill them to prevent them being drilled in wrong location, place the outer tabs abainst the windshield then drill, reinstall the windshield, (make sure you line up the bolt holes carefully, if you misplace them you will have to take the fairing apart, the nuts are rubber and brass magnets wont work), i will try to add pictures. you can blackout the back of the windshield as indicated in the i did it post, but i removed the metal strip and used the dark short windshield which can stock on the vaquero (these can be found on ebay for about 20,00) the pouch was less than 50.00 and can be purchased with or without stud, quality made, i carry my phone in the side pouch and my glasses in the middle.
