Im NOT western located but I like the way you polled first for the best state instead of what town you want it in.

Well this is just for fun. Maybe I should have posted it under "off topic discussion" The rally will be where "the man" says it is! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

You got my vote Wolf.... run with it brother!

09-21-2007, 06:24 PM
yeah it's hard not to vote for the state you live in but I voted for OR because it seems to me to be more centered for more folks out in the west or am I to high again (ROFLOL)

If this dont pan out we could do a NW and SW Meet N Greet???? But I'm game.

I love Oregon too!!

Oregon is great, but I voted for Utah. Just have to watch our for those maniac Utard drivers. Sorry Wolfman, no offense. Everybody in Utah behind a steering wheel is trying to get in front of everyone else behind a steering wheel. The joke here is that we Idahoans are going to start buying our cars in Utah because Utah cars go faster. We can all practice up on our defensive driving techniques. Other than that there is some beautiful country down there. Oh yeah and no beer. But, I'm sure that none of you drink anyway.

That is so true about the drivers Idaho! I can't stand them! just ask my wife everyday we see someone doing something really stupid! Just today some dumb lady was behind me getting all pissed off because I was yeilding the right of way to oncoming traffic as I was waiting to turn left at a green light. I guess she wanted me to pull out in front of everyone and make them slam on their brakes. A few weeks ago I got passed by a minivan doing about 100 that somehow squeezed in between me and another car (3 vehicles in 2 lanes!) I was raised in Washington and even downtown seattle doesn't even compare to SLC! Maybe thats just it maybe these people need to smoke a doobie and calm down a little bit. The one that pissed me off the most was when I was on my nomad just out for a leisurely putt and I got ran off the road intentionally by some jackass in a big diesel pick up truck just because I was trying to get over before my lane ended. No courtesy whatsoever and no value for human life. He really got ahead too.....I was right behind him at the next light.

That's a toughie for me. Southern Utah sure has my interest 'cause of Zion, Bryce, Kings Canyon, etc. Always wanted to see them. However...I'd love to do an Oregon trip so I can get into northern California along the coast. So, my vote is split 50/50.....Oregon or Utah. Hey, let's do both!!!!!!!!!!

09-21-2007, 11:54 PM
NO BEER????????

How do I change my vote???

Vodka?

09-22-2007, 12:18 AM
Well it just depends on what you consider "beer." Out-of-state beer drinkers see the "3.2" and it scares them. All it really means is you can drink a little more than you're used to http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I myself don't partake. Bad alcohol vibes in the family blood line. To each his own. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Being from Seattle I thought drivers there were bad try the Tri cities where i live now. In all my life I have never seen so many impataient poeple in hurry to go no-where in this small city... People here cut in front of each other like its acceptable to everyone. It's crazy. I hate riding my bike in town because I'm the defense so much just waiting for some dumb ASSSS cager to pull a left in front of me!!!! Hey all I'm all for Utah to since i have always wanted to ride that state. I'm like Idaho 50/05 on this one OR or UT ???

09-22-2007, 12:48 PM
I really don't enjoy riding my bike unless I'm on the open road. Way too many idiots. Luckily I'm in the country and can go 10 minutes and be on the open road.

I voted Utah as well. I would hope that would be Southern Utah, or the Flaming Gorge area. Ogden is good too. Even the center of the state has Coral Reef. I guess it won't matter where. Other than Salt Lake City, its all good. Here's a link to some local wines in Mt. Pleasant we tried last year.

Hey Ron, Isn't that park called Capital Reef, or something like that?

09-26-2007, 09:17 PM
Hey Idaho, Capital Reef is the name of the park. It's in the middle of Southern Utah. I've been there and the surrounding area. Great riding.

Hey westerners! Just a reminder 'bout the Poll!! Was wondering if there were any more voters out there....?

<marquee>"HelllllOOOOOOOOO"</marquee>

(that was for you, Wolfie!! You'll do the next poll for the city/town right? It'd be appreciated!!)

09-30-2007, 01:47 AM
So Nico, are we calling it Utah or should we re-vote between California, Utah and Arizona and allow the 5 people who voted for wash, ore, montana to have another say? What Nico says goes!

09-30-2007, 10:03 AM
Let's do a run-off vote..... since the votes are so split.... we'll consider the first vote the primaries.......

Thanks for stepping up Wolf :)
