We have a few staff changes to announce...

First, let's all say thank you to Amy "Kawgirl", Jim "Oldbikers", "Todd", Larry "LW", and Kris "Netnorske" (maybe not to Kris :lmao:) for their hard work and willingness to serve the VBA and forum members.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you. It goes without saying that VBA wouldn't be the same without members like you.

Now, I'd like to introduce the new staff members...

Vice Presient" Jay "jestephens"
USA National Leader: Bill "UsRanger74"

Staff Member and Forum Moderator: Don "dmyers"
Staff Member and Forum Moderator: Cliff "VulcanE"
Social Media Moderator: Chris "RustyFord"
Northwest Regional Leader: Bud "Idaho"
Southwest Assistant Regional Leader" Stan "Sin City Stan"

Please join me in congratulating the new staff members.

Congratulations to all the newest staff. Looks like great choices to follow in the footsteps of a great group of predecessors.

We have had a good-run with the old-guard... and may we have another with the new!!

Yes, let me back Jared up on this. I, for one, had been contemplating this seriously for about the past 6-9 months and maybe even a bit longer on a lesser scale.

I enjoyed every minute of my little part of helping KawaNOW/VBA get legs and grow. But the time had come for a change for me personally. I won't speak for the others, but I think that may be the case and this was the best time to make it happen.

I really wish I still had the time to work with Jared more because I am sure he is just going to keep things growing.:cheers:

It's the Rudolf syndrome, who wants to follow a guy with a red nose, I mean red helmet!:tehe:

Seriously from the little bit of interaction I have had with Jarad so far, I think he will be a great leader.

I can assure everyone that Jared will be a great asset as the new President of the VBA. I very much would enjoy working with/for him, but there's this little matter about me no longer owning a Vulcan Bagger....http://www.thevog.net/file/pic/emoticon/default/sweatdrop.gif:D! Life brings nothing if not changes...embrace them and keep your face in the wind!

I just got home from a 3 wk vacation and hadn't had a chance to keep up with all the news here on VBA. So excuse my late entry here in this thread. I did have internet access but even if I had "netnorskis" disposable income I'm not sure I'd want to pay the 75 cents per minute to stay right up on all the news. Just keeping up on emails almost cost me my left nut, ....which I did have with me btw and not in my wife's purse.
Anyway, enough about me. My sincere thanks to those of you who chose this time to step down as staff for VBA. I've met a few of you and will always be thankful for all you've done, bringing us all to this point in time. I hope you remain available and around the site and that this departure doesn't mean you've "left the building" ...so to speak. ...........And to those of you who have stepped up to the plate to replace these unselfish people, I wish you all,.. the best of luck with the new positions and I'm sure a lot of consideration was given by Jared as our new president, in making these appointments. I have no doubt that VBA will continue on a similar path that our orig. founder and leader "trip" set out on, what seems to be a long time ago now. I've been fortunate to be a member since I first bought my 06' Nomad in the summer of 2007 and have always thought highly of not only the web site and all it had/has to offer but also the people that made it happen. I'm sure this new leadership will continue to impress us "old guys" and the new members that continue to sign up. My thanks to everyone.
