Hey folks,

I have an 03 Nomad. Curious what the owners manual says the rpm should be at idle.

1100 keeps it running smooth. Do you think that is too high?

I tried to lower mine and it stalled going around corners.

Yes. The factory recommends 950 +/- 50 for a reason. Don't lower it too much below 950 cause you'll starve the motor for oil. The oil pump needs the RPM to move lubricant around the engine. Too high and your gong to have problems handling parking lot maneuvers.
