If you are coming to the National Rally in Estes Park and will be traveling the roads East of the mountains. I have some suggestions. The scenery on the backroads and the Interstates is pretty much the same, if time is a concern use the Interstates. If your planned route takes you thru the Metro Denver area go around on C-470 west of I-25 or E-470 east of I-25. E-470 is a toll road and they mail you the bill, so 75 mph and no stops. Coming from South or East the fastest way to Estes is E-470 north to I-25. I-25 to Colo. 66, thence west on Co 66 to Lyons, and US 36 to Estes, this is also a very scenic route.

I have used E-470 a dozen time over the last two yrs and yet no bill of collection. Do they no collect from out of state cars?

Two different cars. Honda Truck and Honda Pilot. Tags ease to see. Never get a bill.

Probably your bill will show up in 60 years and they'll want the interest as well. Your great grandkids will be asked to pay the bill.

I figured you were talking about on the nomad. With a luggage rack or trunk, no way an automated camera system is getting your plate.

I'm guessing that the trouble collecting out of state bills costs more than processing the bill. Or there is some provision that prevents then from collecting the toll. Maybe some sort of intrastates agreement. The again who cares if they don't send a bill. :D

Wife and I took the toll road last summer on the bikes and we both got bills, had to pay them separate, couldn't send one check for both.
