Are your bars hitting your bags?

I did the donut check (http://kawanow.proboards77.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=3232) and glue Saturday and noticed my right crash bar was in contact with the side bag.

With a 4lb hammer and little persuasion, it's now adjusted to about a quarter inch, maybe even less.

You might want the check the clearance between your crash bars and the saddle bags.

There is some slop, if you loosen up the bar bolts and lower bag rails & push it forward. I've always had about 1/4" clear there.

Mine are about 1/4 too.... I can slide a rag in between when cleaning...so no touching here! Thanks for the heads up though!
