Took an idea from my parents and bought a $20 piece of sheepskin at IKEA. Theirs works great, so thought I'd give it a try.

Bought the same thing. How do you keep it on, just sitting?

I also have 3 pieces of sheepskin same color and it fit perfectly both seats BUT no way to fasten it down. I opted for a Propad w/black sheepskin and gel w/ straps. :-)

Alaska Leather has straps for their full size sheepskin.

Sliding it through the driver backrest keeps it in place when not on the bike. When on it, it's got 215 lbs holding it. Ain't going anywhere ! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif It's a 1 piece so no need to strap it down. I just threw it on there and may trim it for better apearance. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

I looked it up online. You cannot buy it online, and the closest Ikea is 250 miles away. Oh well. may be I'll have my brother pick it up and ship it. That's what I get for living in the middle of fly-over country.

There's a country store in West Va that sells actual sheep skins. A lot of the eastern rally attendees will go right passed it to Elkins.

how about some mini bungees under the seat to hold it on.

I had to run to Michigan this past weekend and got it at a new IKEA just out of Cinncinati on I75.

If you were concerned you could always use those elastic straps with clips on either end for under an ironing board. I'm just not worried as I said, it ain't going anywhere and not being strapped down makes it easier to take it off and tuck it away when it looks like rain.
