I received my warranty card in the mail from Kawasaki and to my surprise it says that the limited warranty expires 1-22-16. I was under the impression that it was only a one year warranty but it is a three year. Nice!

Yup, three years is what I was told. Then the dealer have a good discount to double it to six years, no mileage restriction! Never got a card though - I've been robbed! >:(

I got a letter from kawasaki about extending the warranty on the Nomad I used to own. The cost was outrageous. It was more for one year than I spent for an extra four. Since I don't own the bike anymore, it's not my problem. Which reminds me, I have nine and half months of warranty left on the beemer.

Three years is a good warranty. I only got two years with my '08 Nomad. It has been expired since April 2011. Never purchased any other warranty and no problems.

Depends on what issues might crop up. The Nomad is very reliable and the issues it has aren't expensive to fix. I'll be honest and tell you that when my warranty runs out in November, I'll be crossing my fingers. It's not that something will go wrong, but if it does, it will be expensive.

I got the 3 year basic and then an additional 3 years unlimited miles for an awesome price, couldn't turn it down....

I had no issues getting a leaking rear shock replaced on my 2010 Voyager.

It's a great basic warranty. If your even the least bit interested in stretching it out further than three years, check out this thread:

You can ask your dealership if they can match or beat it first, but most won't even come close to it. Same Kawasaki extended warranty. Can be purchased and utilzed anywhere in the U.S. unless you live in Florida. They have some screwed up law that requires you to buy the warranty from a Florida retailer - and of course they gouge their customers for the full retail cost of it.
