I have been considering replacing my 02 Nomad, nearing 80k, with another low mileage Nomad, but prices seem to be all over the place. So my question is what do you think is the right price for a 05 with 11000 miles in excellent condition. KBB is 6470 with expected mileage up to 35000.

Thanks

Here are a few off ebay and locally. Not exact match, but representative. I believe location has a lot to do with it, warm weather vs cold weather state.

I would also suggest stock vs. modifications makes a diffference only if you value the mods. An aftermarket mustang seat and V&H pipes will run you more than $1K if you want them.

Pat, is there a reason you are replacing your bike? 80K is not a "expected life of bike" number of miles. Unless there is some specific major issue, a little "freshening" and you should run another 80k with no trouble.

You need to buy my 2006 with 41K meticulously kept miles for 10K...:yep:

Or you can have my '06 for a mere $20K.

:hmm: On the "real side", I'm not looking to replace, so NO SALE! Of course if someone offered me $20K I might change my mind. :yep:

My 06 has 15k miles with TFI, V&H pipes, Chuckster intake mod and an aftermarket seat. It also has a few scratches and dings. If someone waved $6k in my face, I would probably regretfully snatch it on the second or third pass.

What ever someone is willing to pay. I've sold a few bikes for much more than book.

The price for bikes varies greatly by region. I have purchased three Nomads, two from Phoenix area, and one is west Texas. I purchased them there because they were $1500+ cheaper than anything I could find in Utah.

And any bike you find in the U.S will be 25% less than you pay in Canada.

They should help give you a guide!
Also accesories do not add a ton of value,, on average 20 to 30% of the value, but as mentioned it is what the person likes and wants to make it worth it or not, Good luck with your search

This is my other option. I may end up doing this, but my clutch has been driving me crazy. repaced the clutch spring when it started slipping at around 50k, then again at 65k, then at 74k replaced the friction plates and steels and now starting to get intermittent slipping. Just getting frustrated with it.

did you try the gorilla clutch, or judges washers? I put them in when my clutch started slipping a tad, and it was like a completely new bike.

did not do judges washers, but did the the gorilla set up. Used MT-25 spring, five new thickest steels and two mid thickness steels from kawa. It was better than new, but now have the intermittent issues.
