Motorcycle deaths tripled in NC in last decade per the following article released today. It doesn't mention how many more motorcycles are on the road, but the trend is concerning. I'd be interested in numbers from other states? Buck

The number of middle aged, white bearded guys having turned some equity into motorcycles have soared during this period of time. I saw a stat indicating the age of those dieing on bikes has risen too. It used to be the young, inexperienced rider dieing. Now it's the old, inexperienced rider.....

The number of motorcycles on the road has risen in proportion...I posted some of info on here a while back from the study done by IIHS......but, leaving that little tidbit out makes it such a better news story for the news wh@res.

Agree Todd, it makes for good reading but is not accurate. What happened to the days when the news media just reported the facts instead of trying to create the story? BUCK

You know the answer to that, the truth does not sell.
