I did a little searching here, admittedly not in detail much, to try and figure out whats up with my nomad. I have a 99 that had a previously installed Dyna 2000 controller box. Well, I had a fire a few months back that burned up the junction area of the wiring harness behind the left side engine cover. I have replaced the main wiring harness and all the parts that had wiring going to them from that junction. These parts included both voltage regulators, both stators, kickstand switch.

What the bike is doing now that I have gotten it all back together is that it will fire, but it seems like the cylinders are fighting each other to fire. I am getting fire in all the plugs and getting fuel. I was wondering if anyone on here knows how sensitive to possible voltage spikes the Dyna 2000 is. Thats the only major electrical part that didn't get replaced. Thanks in advance for the help.

First off the Dyna 2000 is NOT a fuel controller.

It is an ignition module.

You say that it is firing and getting fuel, what is it doing that isn't correct?

Sorry, I misworded my post. The engine is turning over, but won't quite fire. Almost like it's out of fuel, but isn't. Almost like a timing issue.

The obvious question, could you have the coils reversed?
