I am very pleased with the stock grips, I see no reason to change them out.

I just got some ISO grips and as soon as I take the stock grips off you could have them, if I could figure a way to get them off without destroying them. ::)

Throttle side is easy but the left side I destroyed. The end cap is reverse thread, you have to turn clockwise to get it off. The problem is when the factory glued the rubber part on, they allowed glue to get on the threads of handbar insert. The end cap was on so solid that I cracked the end cap because I was squeezing it so hard trying to get it to turn. So much for saving it. It required a pair of vise-grips to get the cracked cap off. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have worked some PB blaster around the end cap in the hope in would eat some of the glue up.

If he doesn't take it, I'd like it. I nicked the rubber in my throttle grip and need another.

I liked the stock grips, except, they felt skinny (too small diameter). I got some of the lace-on leather wraps, just to increase the diameter (I have big hands).
I've ridden all accross the country with these, and I'm happy.
And, they were only 15.95!!
